Mr. Kenya Cula Budi's pleads for support

“Don’t just like; share and share. My fans, friends and family I need your big help on this one. The more this picture will be shared the more I’ll get closer to winning the multi-media category,” Robert Budi, the reigning Mr World Kenya pleaded early this week with the Mr World finals about to be held in Philippines.

The 28-year-old is among more than 70 contestants from all over the world taking part in the Manila-hosted competition whose winner will be announced today. Mister World 2016 Rohit Khandelwal of India will crown his successor during the coronation night at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines.

It has been a tight race that has seen a number of African representatives from South Africa and Cameroon also doing well in a number of categories. South Africa’s Fezile Mkhize was the first semi-finalist after he won the sports competition.

The Mr World competition usually sees contestants battle it out in looks, physical fitness and a big heart through several categories.

This includes taking part in a series of extreme challenges; including elimination round live from the arena, an army assault course, extreme fitness, ultimate sport, multimedia, talent, style and fashion. From 72, only 12 contestants will proceed to the semi-finals, from which five finalists will be chosen. Among the five finalists, two will declared as runners-up alongside the winner, Mr World 2019.

Budi has been brave throughout the competition and he is one of the models many people have their eyes on. A review by an online paper puts him among the top five finalists in its predictions. Besides, the hunt for votes has been on and Kenyans have been showing their support for their own.

“Firstly I want to thank everybody for the absolutely incredible support I’ve received over the last two weeks! With just five days to the final I’m going to ask you guys one more favour! Please share this image on all your stories using the #mrworld #mrworld19 #mrworldph #philippines and tag@mrworld.official..,” Budi urged.

So vote! It is hours to decision time
