Raj Kumar shooting ‘Love in Mombasa’
Oscar award nominee and Bollywood producer Raj Kumar is shooting a film in Kenya. The film ‘Love in Mombasa’ is being shot in various coastal towns. A number of international film makers will be joining the Bollywood film producer this month in the multi-million shilling project that has its footage at Kilau Hotel.
Actress Nadia became the first Kenyan to be part of the cast for the upcoming movie. “It is such a privilege to be recruited into such a big project. As a young actress, I take this opportunity to prove that local talent can be trusted in the international space. Kenya is a great film destination. Kenya has great actors,” Nadia told Monday Blues. “I want to thank Kenyan film producers, such as Hassan Faisal of Coastal films, who have continually helped to keep Kenyan films shinning globally,” she added.
Kumar has been in Kenya for the last three weeks, setting the stage for the film that will feature Kenyan and international thespians. The film will be done in English and Hindi. Mombasa locations targeted for filming include Crocodile Park, Christ Church and Haler Park.
