The Hype Fest
After unavoidable circumstances led to the postponement of the Hype Fest in April to June, it’s now all systems go for the Hype Group Limited organized show at Diamond Plaza 2 this Sunday with performances from Bensoul, Nviiri the Storyteller, Ethic and Nigeria’s ‘Flashy’ hitmaker Maleek Berry. Charges are Sh1,800.
Meet Ciku Muiruri at Prestige Bookshop
For book lovers, head to Prestige Bookshop on Mama Ngina street this evening from 5am to 7pm for a book signing of Love is but A Dream by Ciku Muiruri. She will be at Text Book Centre at Junction Mall, tomorrow morning from 11am to1pm for a meet-and-greet book signing. In the book Ciku, best known for her controversial ‘Busted’ show that aired on Classic 105 and Easy FM has detailed some of the gripping stories that had many hooked to her radio show over the years. The Reader’s Lounge has listed it on the Eight Interesting Books to read in 2019.
Friday Fusion at Club da Place
It is the month end weekend so get set for the Friday Fusion show at Club da Place tonight. The fusion party night will see DJ Extreme spin the wheels of steel as the party goes on all night.
